LHD

Over-temperature

If the temperature is more than 5C° above the setpoint, an alarm appears.
  1. The temperature has been adjusted from a high temperature to a lower temperature, this triggers the "Over temperature" alarm.
  2. Malfunctioning sensor.
  1. Give it a few minutes to cool down the air and the alarm will disappear.
  2. Check if the sensor is working correctly or is short-circuited.
Alarm

LHD

Under temperature / No heating

If the temperature doesn't reach the setpoint within 10 min., a warning appears.
  1. Too high-temperature setpoint.
  2. The heating element is malfunctioning.
  3. The signal to the heating element is missing.
  4. Malfunctioning sensor.
  1. Adjust temperature setpoint to lower setpoint. If a higher temperature is needed, contact Labotek Service/Sales department.
  2. Check if the heating element is malfunctioning.
  3. Check if the signal to the heating element is correct. If the Solid-state relays are not activated, check if the ASI module output is activated. If it is activated - check the cable connection from the ASI module, all the way to the heating element to see if it is correctly connected. If it is not activated, contact the Labotek Service department.
  4. Check if the sensor is working correctly or is short-circuited.
Warning

LHD

Fire protection

If the fire protection is triggered an alarm appears and the heating stops.
  1. The temperature setpoint is too high compared to the thermostat on the backside of the DH.
  2. Malfunctioning thermostat.
  1. Reset the thermostat on the backside of the DH (Turn off the DH cabinet, turn the thermostat to max temperature and click the small reset button in the little hole). Adjust the thermostat to the correct temperature and adjust the correct temperature setpoint for the DH.
  2. Check if the thermostat is working correctly or is short-circuited or the wire is broken.
Alarm

LHD / Optional alarm

High level

If the level sensor is activated or not activated (depends on function), a warning appears.
Tells the operator (depending on the function), if the material is at or not at this level in the hopper.
  1. Shows a wrong value.
  2. The sensor is malfunctioning.
  1. Check wiring connections to sensor. Check if the signal is reversed.
  2. Check if the sensor is working correctly.
Warning

LHD / Optional alarm

Middle level

If the level sensor is activated or not activated (depends on function), a warning appears.
Tells the operator (depending on the function), if the material is at or not at this level in the hopper.
  1. Shows a wrong value.
  2. The sensor is malfunctioning.
  1. Check wiring connections to sensor. Check if the signal is reversed.
  2. Check if the sensor is working correctly.
Warning

Low level

If the level sensor is activated or not activated (depends on function), a warning appears.
Tells the operator (depending on the function), if the material is at or not at this level in the hopper.

  2. The sensor is malfunctioning.

  2. Check if the sensor is working correctly.
